     "markdown": "The Day of Fayf al-Rih was one of the days of Banu Amir. The two sides fought there for three days, returning to the battle again and again. Banu Numayr fought alongside Amir ibn al-Tufayl, and they called the day \"the grinding of spears\" because their lances clashed together. Amir used to test the men, saying: whoever has performed valour, let him show me his sword or his spear. A man of Banu al-Harith named Mishar, who claimed to have shown valour, came to him. When Amir came close to examine Mishar's lance, Mishar struck him with it on the cheek, split the cheek and gouged out his eye. That day Amir had also been stabbed twenty times, from the hollow of his throat to his navel.
