     "markdown": "Malik transmits from Sumayy, client of Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman, from one of the Companions of the Prophet, that the Messenger of God ordered people during his journey in the year of the conquest to break the fast, and said: strengthen yourselves for your enemy; the Prophet himself fasted. Abu Bakr reports from the man who told him that he saw the Prophet at al-Arj pouring water on his head from thirst or from the heat; then it was said to the Prophet that a group of people had fasted when he fasted. Later he called for a cup, drank, and the people broke their fasts.
