     "markdown": "Abbad ibn al-Husayn al-Habti told Hamran ibn Aban what al-Hajjaj had said: that if a man claimed Arab descent but did not say that his father was a free man and that he was a client of Uthman, al-Hajjaj would have his neck struck.
