     "markdown": "Al-Aswad ibn Kulthum al-Adawi, known as Adi al-Rabab, who was an ascetic. Al-Baladhuri relates that Ibn Amir sent him to Bayhaq. He entered through a breach in the wall of one of the houses of its people, and a group of Muslims entered with him. The enemy blocked that breach against them, and he fought until he and those with him were killed. Adham ibn Kathum took charge of the people, won the victory and conquered Bayhaq.
