     "markdown": "Mawla Muhyi al-Din Muhammad ibn Mustafa al-Qujawi al-Hanafi. He studied and gained learning, then served Mawla ibn Fadl al-Din, and then taught at the madrasa of Khwaja Khayr al-Din in Constantinople. He later preferred solitude, gave up teaching and retired on a salary of fifteen Ottoman coins, which he thought was too much for him and said that ten would be enough. He stayed at home and devoted himself to learning and worship {cite:shadharat-dhahab p. 702}."

     "markdown": "He was humble and loved the righteous. Commentary on the Qur'an was recited in his mosque, and people of the town gathered to hear him and to seek blessing from his breath, and many benefited from him. He used to say: \"When I doubt a verse of the Qur'an, I turn to God, and my heart widens until it is as large as the world. Two moons appear in it, which I cannot tell apart, and then a light appears that guides me to the Preserved Tablet, and from it I draw out the meaning of the verse.\" The author of al-Shaqa'iq, who was among his students, said that he was one of the men he was proudest to have known, and that he would not have chosen the post of judge except on his advice {cite:shadharat-dhahab p. 702}."
