There was a tree in it that the common people touched for blessing; it is said that he planted his toothstick in the ground and it sprouted until it became that tree. The agent of Tahir ibn Abd Allah ibn Tahir cut it down in the caliphate of al-Mutawakkil, fearing that people would be tempted by it.
