Catholic News Service's funeral report records the funeral Mass celebrated for her at the Melkite Catholic Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Virgin in Jerusalem and her burial beside her parents at the Mount Zion Catholic cemetery, and Catholic outlets of the same days describe her herself as a Catholic Palestinian journalist (National Catholic Register) and as Greek Catholic (National Catholic Reporter). The English biography independently records her birth to a Palestinian Arab Christian (Melkite Catholic) family from Bethlehem and a funeral held at that same Melkite cathedral. Wikidata's structured religion value, Eastern Orthodoxy, conflicts with the Melkite Catholic attestation and is preserved here unadopted. The value recorded is christian; the attested affiliation is Melkite (Greek) Catholic.",

Identity: the queue line's bearer is the Al Jazeera correspondent (1971–2022), pinned by biography and QID against the four other Abu Akleh / Husayni-era namesakes — no prior record and no Arabic-label collision exists on main, and the queue's years are confirmed to the day. Her death is carried in the standard terms of the major sources: killed by gunfire in Jenin while reporting, with the UN, US and press investigations attributing the fire to Israeli forces and the IDF's later acknowledgement recorded. Relations written: born_in only — Jenin and Bethlehem have no place entities, and her parents and brother have no person records.",
