     "markdown": "When three nobles of Quraysh asked for single combat, namely Utba and Shayba, the sons of Rabia, and al-Walid ibn Utba, and turned down the two Ansari challengers because they wanted opponents from their own kin, the Prophet ordered Ubayda, Hamza and Ali to stand up. {cite:mubarakpuri-raheeq p.216}. In Ibn Ishaq's account, Ubayda, who was the oldest of the group, fought Utba ibn Rabia.
