     "markdown": "al-Mu'tasim added to him many commanders and soldiers, and refused him nothing he asked for in money. Ujayf stationed fast horses between the marshes and the City of Peace, so that news of the Zutt reached him within hours. He cut off the water from them at great expense until he took them, and not one of them escaped.
